featured!

"Out of color" is featured at i heart photograph blog!! I feel that my photographs are in a way validated because I really like the photographs they pick up. "Wow, yeah!" was initial response. Then I noticed the blog chose two photographs to post: "pizza bianca" and "summertime". Both photographs are simple and has less contrast(darkness/brightness). They didn't choose the ones similar to still life paintings. That's their taste. "i heart photograph" like photographs that push border what photograph could do. And I agree with them. I know my instinct on "Out of color" was "pizza bianca," which meant to be funny in a sbtle way. I didn't visualized any paintery photographs. Then I got nervous with those white/bright photograph. I mean, I was not so sure if my idea was good or not. So, I turned to aethsetic that I saw in Dutch still life paintings. Well, it was good and bad. Some people had good response to darker photos, while others, especially young friends prefer bright ones. I was not bold enough to embrace new photographic idea inside of me but i am happy to know that I could get some idea from history of an art. Anyways, it's nice to know how people see my photos.
